We are pleased to announce that three Morguard office properties located in Calgary, Alberta have earned ENERGY STAR Certification. Morguard’s Quarry Park Central, 505 3rd Street and 207 & 215 9th Ave SW
were recognized by ENERGY STAR for significant energy efficiency and reduced emissions – both of which contribute to climate change.

Administered by Natural Resources Canada, on average, ENERGY STAR-certified buildings use 35% less energy, produce 35% less greenhouse gas emissions and are less expensive to operate. All three properties received significant scores with Quarry Park Central netting a very impressive score of 99 out of 100, 505 3rd Street following closely at 96, and 207 & 215 9th Ave SW sitting at 91.

This certification is a testament to our commitment to industry best practices through Sustainable Morguard, a program aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of our properties. This helps ensure we continue to make a positive impact on the environment as well as the communities where we operate.
