This award is aimed at the tenant focused, tenant-driven, high service-oriented property manager or management team that consistently provides excellence in tenant services. The team must demonstrate a high level of customer service while working in the commercial real estate property management industry.

The BOMA Certificate of Excellence is backed by a rigorous certification program that involves a written submission and an onsite visit. Information that reviewed and scored includes building management and operations, community impact, tenant relations/communications, energy management and conservation, environmental, regulatory and sustainability initiatives, and the training of the building personnel.
Located in the heart of Edmonton’s downtown business community, Rice Howard Place (formerly Scotia Place) consists of twin office towers, limited retail space on the main floor, a food court on the concourse and a heated underground parkade. Rice Howard Place recently underwent a transformation which brought a new vibrancy to the building and created harmony in the surrounding business community. The modernization featured the replacement of all exterior glass curtainwall panels and redevelopment of the three main entrances. The revitalization has provided an open and inviting environment to welcome tenants and visitors.
Rice Howard Place has also received a BOMA BEST Platinum certification, and a twice recipient of the BOMA Edmonton prestigious Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award. Sustainability is integral in the management of Rice Howard Place. Morguard delivers measurable results to its tenants through environmental performance, building operations and tenant satisfaction.
